Beach House Rules
1.All partners will be financially and otherwise responsible for their offspring stays and boat usage.
2. For booking see SunnyDays website for availability. Click here for Beach house availability (unavailable days show as blue) and if you date is available, Partner must let Marlene know via Marlene's email or text and she will book for you. If partner wants their kid to handle it, they still must be cc'd in and approve.
3. Before May 1st, each partner can book a max of two bookings per summer (Jun/July/Aug), totaling no more than 14 days,after May 31, 14 day limit is no longer in effect and it's 1st come 1st served.
4. Partner or their offspring over 25 years old must be present in order to get the discounted rate.
5.Partner Booking is $100.00 per night and $350.00 mandatory cleaning fee regardless of length of stay. In order to avoid being charged cancellations must be made at least two full weeks prior to beginning of stay during peak season which is Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day and all holidays. One week minimum cancellation the rest of the year but sooner is better in order to open up for others. If house rents, then you will not be charged.
(If you know of someone reliable who wants to rent, tell us before they book, & if they book with me, they will receive a 20% discount, increased to 30% Sun-Thurs November through March, Holiday weeks excluded) Make sure this is someone who YOU are confident would take care of the place since we have no damage insurance if they book through me. (Crue & Beany's family 60% off)
At the end of the year, each partners fees will be subtracted from that partners distribution.
CHECK-IN, CHECK-OUT and CLEANING MUST BE STRICTLY ADHERED TO. Check in 4pm , Check out 10am, early and late checks might be available if there is not a back to back booking.
Before you leave: Make sure swim step is pulled up, boat is closed up and charging
a. VERY IMPORTANT- LOCK laundry room door to garage and remotes are returned to hook OUTSIDE of laundry room door in the garage. The Code to access garage is Umpa's bday day & last 2 digits of year. If you use the blue & green floating island, please keep out of water when no in use and rinse and return to garage before checking out.
b. Garage-Straighten and sweep if you made a mess, the housekeeper does not go out there. Same for the boat and dock. :) Also, fix bike flats if they happen while you are using please.
c. Keep kayaks and paddleboard out of water when not using.
d If you notice any thirsty plants in the yard, please give them a drink.
e. it is appreciated that you look at the house critically & if time allows consider choosing a drawer or cabinet to clean, things that are not covered by the housekeeper but need doing. If you can take a few minutes it won't build up.

*** any none perishable items you leave will most likely be used by guests and not restocked but if you would like to leave for the next family member i.e paperplates, ziplocks, water, etc. put in cabinets in the garage cabinet
